Casadó Celebrates Anniversary Before His Big Chance

The long wait is almost over for rising star César Casadó

Promising rider will make his Grand Prix debut in next month’s Belgian GP

For Caesar Casadó, the wait has been a long one – but it will finally come to an end next month when the youngster makes his Grand Prix debut at the wheel of a Sauber at the Belgian Grand Prix.

The 21-year-old Spaniard has been one of the most promising drivers in the junior categories for several years.

He won the Formula 4 Spanish Championship in 2018 and the Euroformula Open Championship in 2019.

He also finished third in the Formula 3 Championship last year, behind only Victor Martins and Dennis Hauger.

Casadó’s performances have not gone unnoticed by Formula 1 teams, and he was signed by Sauber as a development driver at the end of last year.

He has spent the first half of this season competing in Formula 2, where he has scored three podium finishes.

His impressive performances have earned him a promotion to Formula 1, and he will make his debut at the Belgian Grand Prix on August 28.

Casadó is excited about the opportunity to finally make his Formula 1 debut.

He said: “I’m very excited to be making my Formula 1 debut with Sauber, “I’ve been working towards this moment for my entire life, and I’m finally here.”

“I know it’s going to be a big challenge, but I’m ready for it. I’m going to give it my all and see what I can do.”

Casadó is the first Spanish driver to race in Formula 1 since Fernando Alonso left the sport at the end of 2018.

He will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of his illustrious compatriot and become a successful Formula 1 driver.
